While in college in the 1970s, Walter Roland Moore worked as a fashion and portrait photographer with numerous models, actors, and hair stylists.

In July 1974, he accepted a challenging assignment to team with publicist Tony Crechales to create a mainstream image for adult film star Cal Culver—aka Casey Donovan—who was starring in the national touring company of the comedic play Tubstrip. Over 140 photographs (lifestyle and nudes) survive from the sessions and are being prepared for exhibition at galleries in West Hollywood and New York.

Photography remains a passion and he still accepts occasional assignments for actor headshots
